Andrew P. "Bucky" Kerkhoff

Andrew P. “Bucky” Kerkhoff, 82, a resident of Davenport, died Saturday, November 19, 2022 at his home.

          Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will be at Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.

          Bucky was born March 23, 1940 in Quincy, Illinois the son of Andrew J. and Margaret (Muffley) Kerkhoff. He served his country in the United States Army 1958 – 1962. He married Helen Schulte in 1962. She preceded him in death. He married Kimberly Posten, September 26, 2015.

          Bucky worked as a glazier for Union Local 581, Peoria District. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, and enjoyed remote control airplanes, and bowling.

          Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Kim; sons, Kenneth (Lucinda) Kerkhoff of Milan, Timothy Kerkhoff of Moline, and Edward (Annette) Kerkhoff of McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Kory, Bonni, and Ashley; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Connie Holderby of Florida.

          In addition to his wife, Helen, he was preceded in death by his parents; son, Thomas Kerkhoff; and grandson, Scott Kerkhoff.
