Funeral services celebrating the life of Amber M. Marsingill, 42, of Williamsville, IL, and formerly of the Quad Cities, will be held at 1pm on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will be from 10am until time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Susan G. Kommen Fund.
Mrs. Marsingill passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.
Amber Marie Randall was born August 8, 1982, in Rock Island, a daughter of Steven “Rocky” Randall and Penny Louise Hogan. She met her future husband, Brian Marsingill, coincidently enough at a wedding, and they were united in marriage on August 31, 2014, in Gatlinburg, TN.
She had been a teacher’s aide for Riverton Elementary School in Riverton, IL, and loved working with children, especially those with special needs.
Amber was an outgoing and happy person, who loved everyone and was loved in return. Her family was her world, and she loved the time spent with them, especially her grandchildren. She talked daily with her BFF who was appropriately enough also named Amber.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband Brian; children Kaylyn (Brayden) Bova and Mathew (Kaily) Dixon of Springfield, IL; stepson Shane (Alexis) Rogers of Harlan, KY; grandchildren Maverick, Maddox, and Macy Rogers, Bexley and Braelyn Dixon, Hunter and Hasley Bova; brothers Joe (Cindy) Randall of Indianapolis, Eric Randall of Springfield, OH; grandmother Arlene Hogan of Dubuque; stepmother Cheryl Randall of Rock Island; BFF Amber (Sam) Dixon of Springfield, OH; aunts and uncles Joyce (Lance) Nelson of Davenport, Paula Soderstrom of Dodgeville, WI, Douglas Hogan of Independence, IA, Angel Bender and Melody Berry of Rock Island, Mike (Michelle) Randall of Florida, Troy (Mary) Randall and Rich Randall of Milan, IL; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and niece Brittany Nelson.
