Alexis Roelandt

Alexis Joe Roelandt, 19, of Davenport, Iowa passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 17, 2025 at Halligan-McCabe-Devries Funeral Home in Davenport, Iowa at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held from 11:00 until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley.

Alexis was born on December 6, 2005 in Iowa City, daughter of William Roelandt Jr. and Melissa Hoye.

Alexis enjoyed shopping, listening to music and being around her family. She graduated from West High School in 2024. She was very social and would engage in a conversation with any and everyone. She was known for getting into grown folks business. She was small but mighty. She will be dearly missed.

Those left to honor her memory include her parents William and Melissa, sisters Cariyana Cummins and Kiahara Roelandt, her great grandmothers Marilyn Diedrich, Dorothy Roelandt and Phyllis Barker, grandmothers Bonnie Roelandt and Phyllis Hoye, aunts Connie Howard and Linda Caras, aunts Deneshia, Dana, Darnae, Depreshia, Darsheala and special aunt Delivia, uncles Paul, Brett, Tyler, Kaylo and Ross, special cousins Zamarius McDonald and Londynn Hanes. Alexis’ family also includes many extended family to include many other aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her great grandfathers Wiliam Roelandt and Evan Diedrich and grandfathers William Roelandt Sr. and William Barker.

Memorials may be made to the family at the service. Floral arrangements may be sent to Halligan-McCabe-Devries Funeral Home.
