Adell Harmon, 69, of Davenport, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at Genesis Medical Center – East Rusholme St Campus, Davenport.
Per his request the rite of cremation has been accorded and there will be a memorial service and time of sharing at noon on Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main St, Davenport. There will be a memorial gathering from 11am until the time of sharing at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
Adell Harmon was born December 31, 1951 in Shuqualak, Mississippi, a son of Charlie and Rosie Lee Harmon.
He had worked as a truck driver for Midwest Recyclers and Del’s Metal.
Those left to honor his memory include his children Megan Payne of Davenport, Devin Fabre of Davenport, daughter Tanya Fabre of Madison, Wisconsin, son Carldell & (Krysti) Hudson of Memphis Tennessee; grandchildren Terry Barnes, DeMarquis Hanes, Armondo Chavez, Jatavion Hawkins, Anthony Chavez, DeMarion Hanes, Christian Hudson, Dizhon Hawkins, Kayla Hudson, Alizae Chavez, MaKaree Hanes, Kyrah Hudson; great grandchildren Lennox Barnes; sisters, Betty S. Harmon and Clara M. Shorter of Davenport, Juanita Grady of Meridian, Mississippi, Dallas Parks of Meridian, and Lillie Mae Woodridge of East St. Louis, Missouri; brothers, Lee, Tommy, Larry, Mileous (Trisha) Harmon all of Mississippi, Edgar (Diane) Harmon of Barstow, Florida, and Andy Harmon of Louisiana.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and brothers, Earnest, Raymond, Lee, Charlie, & George Harmon.
