Abigail "Abby" Platt

Abigail “Abby” Katherine Platt, 25, of Davenport, died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 28, 2021.

Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be 10:00am, Saturday September 4, 2021, at Halligan-McCabe-Devries Funeral Home. Her family will greet friends, Friday from 4:00-7:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her family for an education fund for her children.

Abby was born May 21, 1996, in Davenport, daughter of Kathleen Duvall and Dan Platt. She was a 2014 graduate of Central High School. Abby and her soulmate, Keegan Loveless, were enjoying raising their three children and had just celebrated the birth of their first daughter in May. Abby was passionate, genuine and full of zest. She was adventurous and was always there to help a friend in need. She never met anyone she didn’t consider family and could light up any room with her infectious laugh. Most of all she loved being a mom to her beautiful children and fur babies.

Survivors include her soulmate, Keegan Loveless, children; Piercen (6), Boone (2), and Willow (4 months); her parents: Kathleen Duvall (Chris Chambers) Beaufort, SC; Dan and Lesli Platt, Riverdale, IA; her Grandparents: Terry Duvall, Davenport; Carol Platt, Moline; Ron and Kathy Duvall, Fort Myers, FL; Tom Peisch, Davenport; Joe and Cathy Kellenberger, Dewitt; Keegan’s entire family who treated her as one of their own; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends she considered family.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Don Platt and grandmother, Sandy Kellenberger, may they rest in peace.

Abby’s family would like to thank the many extended family members, close friends, neighbors, and everyone who has reached out, helped or donated to the family during this difficult time.
